Farm-Raised Values

Wade's foundation was built on a dairy farm in central New York, where he worked side-by-side with his grandfather and father. Those early mornings planting crops, caring for livestock, and solving seemingly impossible problems shaped his character.

"Some days we would start working before the sun came up and wouldn't stop until long after dark," Wade recalls. Through this, he learned simple truths: there is reward in helping others, and success requires hard work, even when facing impossible tasks.

These core values—hard work, perseverance, and helping others—became the heart and soul of Coye Law Firm when it was founded in 1991.

"While Coye Law Firm officially began in 1991, our true heart and soul was not founded in a building, but on a dairy farm in central New York."

Early Years

Wade's education began at SUNY Morrisville with an Associate of Arts degree, then continued at SUNY Buffalo where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. He graduated cum laude from SUNY Buffalo Law School with his Juris Doctor, earning honors including Moot Court and the Trial Technique Award.

His political background included serving on the staff of Hon. Gerald B. Solomon (Congressman from Glens Falls, NY) and Hon. George C. Wortley (Congressman from Syracuse, NY), giving him unique insights into how government works—insights that would prove invaluable in advocating for his clients.

Wade began his legal career at a large commercial law firm, handling work for the Resolution Trust Corporation, products liability, and directors and officers liability cases. But in 1991, he founded Coye Law Firm as a consumer-focused practice dedicated to personal injury, workers compensation, and wrongful death cases.

What Drives Wade

Understanding the person behind the practice and what motivates three decades of dedicated service.

"I've learned that most people don't want to be in a lawyer's office. They're there because something has gone wrong, and they need someone who will listen and fight for them."
